Tea or soup? 🤔
Bak Kut Teh literally means "meat bone tea" in Hokkien, but there's no tea leaves inside. Just tender pork ribs in a rich, spiced broth.
Fun fact: The "Teh" comes from the Hokkien pronunciation of the founder's nickname, "Bak Kut Tee".
Have you tried it? Malaysia's black broth or Singapore's white pepper soup?
