Middle-aged brothers, Jing Jiu is a low-alcohol herbal liquor made with traditional Chinese medicine ingredients. In moderation, it really warms the body, fights fatigue, and gently boosts qi and blood. A couple of small glasses during a brothers' gathering, and you suddenly feel refreshed and energized.
But don't drink recklessly! Stepping on any of these 5 landmines once is a real loss:
Landmine 1: Drinking on an empty stomach → Direct damage to the stomach lining. Middle-aged stomachs are the most vulnerable!
Landmine 2: Drinking too much at once → Liver and kidneys cry for a break. Anything over 50ml in one sitting triggers the alarm!
Landmine 3: Mixing with blood pressure or diabetes medication → Disrupts drug effects, high risk of low blood sugar or dangerous blood pressure spikes!
Landmine 4: Hot / yin-deficient fiery constitution still drinking → Worsens internal heat, mouth ulcers and constipation come knocking!
Landmine 5: Liver or kidney problems but still forcing it → Small issues turn into serious diseases. Middle age pays the heaviest price!
Remember: Jing Jiu is not medicine. Moderation is true wellness. Small glass, sip slowly, drink after a meal, 2–3 times a week at most. Only when your body feels comfortable is it real nourishment.
